I was glad to see American Stacy Lewis win the Women's British Open. I did not want Korean Inbee Park to win the Grand Slam. Korean's have taken over women's golf. I enjoy watching the women play. Their game is more like mine. I watch the men hit 8 irons 200 yards and hit 340 yard drives... that is not the same game I play.

It is good to see an American take a major.

Holy cow, pmull! I am a member of a golf fantasy league. This week was a 2 pickem and I picked Tiger and Stacy Lewis as winners. Just got done with my grandson's birthday party, so you are the bearer of good news. Thanks!

I would think the Yankees would hurry up the appeal so they can take him off the payroll.

Good one J. No short skirts. But I do hit a hybrid from 200 yds instead of an 8 iron.

I'm happy to see the Daily Thread so active...welcome back Mr X and congratulations on getting to 5,000 CB.

I've been feeling pretty crummy the last few days and haven't been on here much and I see I have a lot of catching up to do on my reading when time permits...I have a doctor appointment this morning to receive and discuss the results of the CT scan that I had done on Friday.  If the news is good and the treatments have been working then I'll probably have another chemo infusion today...otherwise, I don't know where we go from here.   I'm trying to have faith and stay positive but that's tough to do when I'm feeling sick and having pain in the area where I've been getting treatment.

I hope this is a good day for everyone and the start to another great week...try to make it a great one for everyone around you and it will be for you too
