I finally get to use my Fathers Day Present tomorrow. My daugthers are taking me white water rafting on the Ocoee River near Chattanooga. My youngest daughter has been on a mission trip with UNA Campus Outreach all summer so this is the first time we could all go. We leave about 8:30 tomorrow morning. We are scheduled to put in at 2:00 CT. There will be 6 in the raft plus the guide. We will be on the water about 4 hours. Praying for good weather.

Here is a link of what we will be doing. Click here for link

Goooooooood Mornin CRS  Coffee

What a difference a day makes!!!

They showed me a picture of my chest before the procedure and my right lung was compressed to about 1/3 the size of my left lung. During the thoracentesis they drew out 1.2 liters of fluid from around my right lung. The only problem I had during the procedure was when my lung expanded into the space to fill the area where the fluid had been and began to fill with blood again, my blood pressure dropped suddenly from 107/67 to 63/44 and I nearly lost consciousness.  But, they hooked me up with some oxygen and brought me back.  There was really no pain throughout the procedure except for when they gave me the two shots they used to deaden my back where they stuck the needle in.

Two nights ago I couldn't lay on my left side because of all the pain caused by the fluid surrounding my right lung pressing on my heart...it was an 8 or 9 on the pain scale...last night there was no pain at all in any position...0 on the pain scale...I slept all night last nigh without waking a single time and this morning I feel as good as I've felt in a very long time.

Thank you for the prayers my friends and thank you God  Pray

Good news. I am glad you are feeling better. You do not appreciate a good nights sleep until you have not had one in a few days. I am glad the procedure went well.

Leroy we enjoy the honor of carrying our brother before the Lord in prayer. We won't quit and don't you either. I believe in my heart that God will bring us through anything and the lesson is to be learned from it. You are the man. God Bless! RTR!

I'm so glad you got some relief, Leroy. I know the blood pressure drop had to have been a scare. Glad it turned out alright. Still praying for His healing hand to carry you through this.

Morning CRS.

It's going to be a hot one in T-town today but who's to complain, it's been a very mild summer compared to past years.

Bama has their first scrimmage today and I'm anxious to see the results.

Maybe Leroy and Mrs. L will catch some catfish today. Cheesy

Have a great day!!

Good morning CRS!!! I just heard that all fish in Arkansas and Southwest Georgia are on the endangered species list all of a sudden.  Grin

You're right, J, it's going to be a hot one today. I'm getting ready to go tee them up. I sure wish they had air conditionrd golf carts.

It will cost you a few strokes but there is more shade in the rough. HTH

Morning CRS.

Glad you are feeling better, Leroy.

Off to search for a pea sheller this morning.  Yesterday I visited Sam's pacle and AG Russell's pacle.

Well now aren't you just the one.
Did you see where Cooper had a big day today, he is an awesome player. Rueben Foster got a stinger today and I hate to see that because he's got a good chance to get some quality minutes this year. AJ had a near miss too, the ole injury bug is trying to work it's way back on this team. Angry
