Good morning CRS!!! I just heard that all fish in Arkansas and Southwest Georgia are on the endangered species list all of a sudden. 

You're right, J, it's going to be a hot one today. I'm getting ready to go tee them up. I sure wish they had air conditionrd golf carts.

It will cost you a few strokes but there is more shade in the rough. HTH

Lol, I stayed out of the rough as much as possible today and it paid off. I won all the money. I had 2 birdies and life was good. 

Well now aren't you just the one.
Did you see where Cooper had a big day today, he is an awesome player. Rueben Foster got a stinger today and I hate to see that because he's got a good chance to get some quality minutes this year. AJ had a near miss too, the ole injury bug is trying to work it's way back on this team.

Dadgum it, I fell asleep on the couch and now here it is 3 am and I'm wide awake. 

J, tell us more about the scrimmage. What was the AJ near miss?

Great news about the basketball team.

2, I think those 2 birdies and their money did something to you.

AJ got his foot stepped on and luckily it was just a bruise per CNS. CNS says everything is ok, but for him to emphasize emphatically that everything was allright, I have to wonder just a little bit. The foot is very fragile and if it was one of those 300+ pounders that stepped on him, he was lucky something didn't break.

My daughters and I went white water rafting on the Ocoee River north of Chattanooga on Saturday. The Ocoee is where the 1996 Olympic rafting competition took place. These pictures are in Class IV rapids. My two daughters are in the front, me in the middle and two nice girls they paired us up with in the back with Kevin the guide. Lots of fun.

It was a hot one in T-town today, humidity was terrible. I've been trying to dig up a Bradford Pear stump in my front yard and did I ever get hot, that sucker has got some roots on it.

Chech, sounds like you had a good time.

I read the article on D J Fluker, sad story with a great ending. I saw a lot of this as I was growing up and not all of them had a happy ending as D J's did.

I'll be going to Bama's scrimmage next Saturday, really looking forward to it.

SC, do you have your backyard Taj Mahal completed?

yep ! this heat is a killer !   

got so hot yesterday I thought I was gonna barf

so I stayed in the house a lot today

but not sure what is worse though , the heat or ...

the crawfish and gulf shrimp boiled in a big pot with
conecuh sausage ears of corn potatoes onions lemons
tonys sauce and crab boil with lots of air conditioning

either way it worked out to where I'm miserable and can hardly move   

just can't win can we ?   


I'm ready for some winter time football weather !!!!

I took the wife out to dinner last night to this new Mexican place
and I guess from the heat yesterday getting to me a little ,
shortly after we sat down to eat at the restaurant  I start to cramp up ,
hands , legs , the whole bit ... couldn't even hold my fork ... how embarrassing

 

don't know about you but I've had all this heat I can stand 

hope the cramp monster don't pay you a visit

Hey guys please, make sure you stay hydrated. When I use to workout my diet included a gallon of water on the hot days and cold water too, not hot or warm. Be Blessed. RTR!

thanks Ricky , you're right I hadn't drank any water Saturday at all 
some coffee , two or three cokes and sweet tea with dinner last night ...

been drinking water since last night pretty steady all day today too
no tea or cokes at all since yesterday ...
wife just took me up to wally world and made me buy some B-12 pills
says the B-12 will help too ... we'll see

those cramps suck and last night took the cake
having the cramps at night while sleeping is one thing
but having them in a restaurant on a dinner date is a whole different story ...
