Glad you made it home ok Chech, that's a long drive. Thanks for checking on the pea sheller for me.
I'd have bought it, had I found it.
I love fresh peas, and the only things keeping me from buying more is the pain of shelling them and/or the expense of buying freshly shelled ones.

You're welcome, sir.

Chech, I hope y'all are hunkered down. You've got a real bad cell bearing down on you.  Shocked

Great job XBAMA. I've lost 26 lbs. from 248 down to 222. I am seeking 200 lbs before I quit. RTR!
Wow, my image of people on this forum needs adjustment!

Keep working, folks.  We need to be in shape by late August!

I know.  I've got it clearly in the periscope.
We're good.  Just wish that big cell would dissipate a bit.

glad Chech is home safe from arkie land

@ XBAMA - Mercy, X, I've seen you. You don't have anywhere to lose 38 lbs.

@ Chech - Looks like Arkansas has been stealing all your rain.

@ CB - That's a great start! I went from regular Coke to Diet Coke about 15 yrs ago. It was something I had to adapt to, but I did, and now regular Coke tastes awful to me. But really, getting rid of the soft drinks altogether is best.

I try to walk an hour in the morning at least 4 days a week and as hot as it is, even in the morning, I work up a good healthy sweat.

My problem is when I hit my goal, I slowly revert to the bad things I eat and voila! I'm fat again.

well not exactly 2 ,

started out weighing 212 in January which was what I weighed in 1972

what's the difference ?
in 1972 I wore a 30 inch waist for my pants
in 2013 I wore a 36 inch waist pants ...

still had about the same weight but it seemed to have moved down to
my belt area
I've still got a ways to go but "the tool shed" now is for more like a
push mower rather than a zero turn ...

we can do this guys ... I hope anyway ...

my knees thank me everyday and I've had to buy new belts and pants
and like you said , the trick is going to be ... keeping it off !
or at least move it north some

good luck to us all ! may the force be with you !
I'm getting me a picture of the new DC for the Saints as motivation

Mine too! That's what is really motivating me to keep going. My knees feel so much better. In fact, I just feel overall lighter on my feet.

X, I'd have never guessed that you were 200+ lbs. before your weight loss.

Yeah, I know. I am so addicted to the darn things that I am having to take it slowly. It is a big accomplishment for me to get off Cokes and Dr. Peppers and on to Sierra Mist.

Unless you are trying to cut back on caffeine, you might try switching to Diet Dr. Pepper. Out of all the diet sodas, that tastes more like the real thing than any of the others.

Well, I was gonna stay up to make sure Chech and LF were ok, but it looks from the radar that the cell lost some of it's punch, so I'm off to bed. G'night all.

We got HEAVY rain for 30 minutes, and now it's just rain.  The lightning is mostly cloud-to-cloud; still rumbling.  Chaac gave us a whammy.  Just as it hit our area there was a tornado signature; hope everyone just west of here is okay.  The gusty wind has died a bit.

Glad you're ok. The radar made it look like it wasn't as intense, the closer it got to Oxford. I'm not sure exactly where you are in relation to that, but I remember you saying you were close.

Anyway, good morning!
