I'm in the Smokies for a few days: fishing (as usual for me).  Long drive this morning.

I caught a bunch of trout today.  Here's one of the pretty ones (not so silvery as some).  Hope you all are well.

Good job! Get you a good night's sleep tonight and catch the rest of them tomorrow.

Things are very pleasant on the weather front this morning in T-town, no rain and a comfortable 65 degrees.

Chech, I'm guessing the weather is just wonderful in the Smokies and that means for a lot of good fishing. 

Have a great day everyone and let's help Leroy out today, put a smile on someones face.

It's been a long night. My youngest daughter that lives in NOLA called me last night about 1 am. Her little Min-Pin dog was run over by a car and killed. She is devastated. My heart aches for her. 

Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers today.

Thanks, J. It really is and was especially so with my daughter. "Gracie" was everything to her. This will be very hard for her to get over.

First, my condolences to both pet owner and family.  Very sad. 

Now, fishing.  Indeed, Jamos, the Smokies are spectacular today (and tomorrow).  It was great today, except I'm very sore from climbing over rocks for 8 hours.  Yes, 8.  But I caught a bucket load of fish.  Here are some pics:


I caught 3 at the bottom of this waterfall (see background).  Beautiful place.


Another pacle where I enjoyed the scenery and caught fish.  Gotta love the Smokies.

This picture is just beautiful, you do such a fantastic job with your camera. I'm glad the fish were biting, it makes the fishing hole even more beautiful.

Hey 2, we lost 3 Shelties and they were family. I mean our kids. It hurt so bad when we lost the last one my wife won't get another one. She said she couldn't hurt like that again. RTR!

J, I will try harder to put smiles on faces today. That was hard to do yesterday. Let's start with this:

Morning all. I am playing babysitter today since I am off. Little cbbama has two friends coming over for the day. Both of these children are from Maryland, so I think it is my responsibility to ensure that these children see a positive role model and receive proper raising. Therefore, I think I will make them watch the 2013 BCS National Championship game. It's good for kids to see what a winner looks like, since the college programs up here don't provide that kind of positive role model for them.
