Morning all.  I've been in tropical climates since January, so there's only two kinds of weather. 1) hot and humid 2) rain (followed by more hot and humid).

Personally I think I deserve recognition for the team's success over the last four seasons.  I boarded a plane bound for China August 22, 2009.  Things have gone pretty well for the team since then...

Well, we're under our typical daily flood watch. We've had 10 1/2 inches of rain since 5 am yesterday with much more to come. Yippee! 
J, I'm glad we didn't pick this weekend to do our golf thing down here.

Hmmm, I'll speak with Chaac.  He gets too enthusiastic periodically. 
I doubt he thought your region was a priority.

Man you have had some rain and now the hurricane season is in, it won't get any better.
With my luck at getting these guys up here together to come down, it's been a "wash" on my side as well.

Goooooooooooooood Afternoon CRS from the outskirts of Magnolia, AR.

I'm happy to see that everyone has been doing pretty well...I was sorry to read about your grand-dog 2.  I've been checking in to read the daily thread on my phone during our travels but this afternoon Mrs Leroy let me hijack her laptop for long enough to make a post,

Mrs Leroy and I have had a great time visiting with our children and grandchildren the last few days.  I've been feeling pretty well...last Tuesday I drove for 8 1/2 hours before turning it over to her for the last 2 hours.  I the last week I've gotten caught up on my neck hugging and baby kissing and eaten what feels like a ton of good food. 

I've been checking the rainfall and river levels and it looks like we've had lots of rain and the river is predicted to rise to near flood stage but so far the rise is way less than predicted and I believe everything will be okay until we get home.

We'll be leaving for home around daylight tomorrow and if all goes well we should be back home to Camp Leroy before nightfall.

Yeah, there has been flooding in both pacles. I was watching the Mobile news a little while ago and they got hit harder than us today. Lots of flooding. For now, the rain has stopped here. I hope it's a trend.

A funny story; I was watching the local news last night and they were talking about SEC-Fest which is an event at Gulf Shores, where SEC legends come to address fans. The local newscaster was talking about the many hardy souls that braved the weather to attend SEC-Fest. They showed a shot of Vince Dooley, Herschel Walker and others on a stage addressing the fans......all 5 of them. 

Leroy, I'm glad you had a great trip. Thanks for the thoughts on the granddog. There's nothing like grand children to lift the old spirits, eh? Y'all drive safely. You'll probably be coming in to more rain. All the rain we got today has moved your way. Hopefully, you won't have to deal with flooding.

I sure hope he's right, Chech. The forecast is still calling for at least a 40 percent chance of rain through next weekend, some days more.

But be sure to thank him for me for this afternoon's reprieve.
