I'm heading that way myself, J, if the rain will hold off. As Gil would say, "Hit 'em straight and not too often".

Well, I did as Gil said to do, I hit'em straight in the woods on the right, I hit'em straight in the woods on the left and I hit'em straight into the sandtraps in the middle but I did hit them much too often though. I tried calling Chaac for some help after the first nine but he wouldn't answer the phone, I needed a big storm to wash out all the bets I was going to lose.
Actually I had a great time with the fellows, it had been quite sometime since we all have had a chance to play together. 

Depending on Chaac is pretty hit or miss, kinda like my golf game. 

Glad you guys had fun. We're gonna try it again tomorrow. 60% chance of rain, so I don't hold much hope. 

I might try to sneak in another round tomorrow as well. The rain finally showed up here, a few dollars too late.

Saw this story on a fishing forum:

The old farmer had built a nice pond way out back on his property in a quiet apple apple orchard. He had not been out there in weeks, but when his wife said she'd bake some apple pies if he would gather some fruit, he grabbed a 5 gallon bucket and headed down to the orchard.
As he approached the pond, he heard laughing, splashing and girls giggling. There was a group of coeds from the local college skinnydipping in the cool water of the pond. He cleared his throat and made his presence known. The girls all went to the deep part of the pond, and one of them shouted that they would not get out until he left.
The farmer said, "I didn't come here to see you or to make you get out." He held up the bucket and said, " I'm just here to feed the alligator."

The sad part about your rain situation is that hurricane season is here now and you've already had your annual hurricane rainfall total. I bet there are some mosquitos down there big enough to drive a semi. I'm planning on playing again today, after yesterday there has to be some better play awaiting me. My tee shots were terrible so that made me struggle on each hole. I think the driving range has an appointment with me today before we start.
