Well in Tigers' defense if he has back trouble he is in a mess. The pain only gets worse and there is no way to keep it eased. I am on 60 mg. Morphine a day and brothers it don't help. So if he is into back trouble he needs prayers. I will say this if e can keep playing with back injury he is a physical specimen for how to handle pain. RTR!

Preacher, somehow he manged to come back and finish tied for 2nd. I had to leave, so I missed the last 2 holes. He does have grit.
He barely missed a birdie putt on 18, which would have put him into a playoff.
That might have killed him.

This post was on Alabama Football's Facebook page today:

Bear Bryant won six national championships as head coach of the Crimson Tide. Six days until Alabama football takes on Virginia Tech.

Morning Chech and the CRS nation. Coffee

I couldn't help but smile when looking at pmull's photo, the face masks. I remember when they brought them to us to put on our helmuts. The single bar was for the running backs and receivers and the double bar was for the linemen. We thought that was the greatest day ever until we realized that the facemasks served more as a grip for the coaches when chewing you out than it did to protect us. Oh, those were the days. Cheesy

Chech, I wish you and your camera had been with Mrs. J and me last evening. We were invited by some our friends to take a small cruise on the Warrior River, above the Holt lock and dam. Their boat is a houseboat/yatch type, 100'x20' and very nice. It was a beautiful sunset and calm water and I know you would have been clicking away with your camera. This boat is a replacement for their other boat which was sunk by the bad tornado that hit Tuscaloosa.

Me three. My plans are to get a 7:00 tee time Saturday morning so I can be home no later than noon, then let the football gluttony begin.  Dancing

Morning all.  On my Facebook page today I started a countdown of my five favorite Bama moments since I moved overseas.  Figure I'll share them here too.

#5 - Mark Ingram wins the Heisman and gives the greatest award acceptance speech ever.

I got my money back yesterday and should have had a very good round. I can't hit my irons and driver plus my putting is terrible but other than those things my game is pretty good.

Yesterday is when it should have rained. I had burning hamstrings that kept me up all night Saturday, and my golf game reflected it. I won't tell you what my score was, but I will tell you I had an 11 on one hole.  Sad
