I just saw where North Dakota State beat Kansas St 24-21 last night. Not a good start for the Big 12. KSU was not ranked but they received a lot of votes.

Okay, I'm back after a "honey-do" project.  LF had a door latch that needed attention.  I adjusted the hinges, removed the strikeplate, chiseled the hole out, filed the top of the strikeplate, and voilà: works perfectly.  Only thing between me and football now is watering of the outdoor plants (I blame 2 for hogging the rain).  Good to go by 11AM.

I have to wonder what kind of example is set for our kids when high school players fight? Reason I ask is i thought Pro and College players were bad enough and now it is in the State of Alabama. This crazy. RTR!

It's a terrible example, Preacher.
But it's nothing new.  There were fights after games when I played.  We had to fight to our bus at times.

It's a violent game.  It attracts violent people.  I'm not surprised.  But I'm not pleased either.

From the info I got, 2 coaches actually initiated the fight.I don't know if any players joined in then.

There is some bad blood between the two schools. Last year they played each other twice and in the playoff game, the players weren't allowed to shake hands after the game. Evidently the game was marred by penalties for unsportsmanlike conduct.
