It is indeed Texas A&M week and I have to figure out how I'm going to watch the game this weekend.  The place where I'm staying shuts the internet down overnight.  There's a McDonald's open 24 hours with free wi-fi in walking distance, but I don't want to watch this game in McDonald's.    what to do.

Do they have an "Olive Garden" or "Romano's Macaroni Grill" there? At least you would have better food while you were watching the game. 

It seems it would be tough to find another public place that hour of the night. You may just have to stick with Micky D's. Have you tried approaching the mamagement/proprietors where you are staying about leaving on the Wi-Fi for you on that night?

Thanks for the support! 

I plan on asking the man in charge of such things if an exception can be made this weekend.  Although it's frustrating and I'm not entirely in agreement, there are generally good reasons for doing what they do.  I can't go into that right now though.
