Morning all. It was a good weekend for our household as well. I took my grandson fishing early this morning and we had a great time.
Hopefully Leroy and Ricky are feeling better.

I only had about 3 hours to fish but we did ok, we actually had some good strikes but we didn't land the fish. Grandson caught the biggest bass, it was a largemouth that weighed 3 pounds. This was the first time the two of us have been able to go fishing together in a very long time so it was a special day for me.

J, I'm working on the weather.  There's an unstable air mass moving in for the weekend, but shouldn't be a toad strangler (like last Friday-Saturday morning).

I'm not a fan of Bradford Pears.  They're planted in every parking lot, every mall, and most yards.  Beautifully red during fall farther north, but just trees in the Deep South.  The new hybrids are better, but the older ones break/split too easily.

Never pulled a stump of them.  Dynamite?  I'll see if any of the players needs some work.

That's a great idea with the players, this sucker would make a great attitude changer and I think there are some that need it.

Too early to be certain, but looks like a slight chance of showers (just light, brief showers).  I'm expecting what Les Miles called "stiff dew", if anything.

A few more days to Ole Miss. It's been a long time since we've had to take them seriously. I'm working on getting my serious face on for this one.
