I saw the last time Mario Rivera will be on a mound on ESPN and they did give him a going ovation second to none last night. He was a great pitcher but if his records are broken it won't be anytime soon. Congratulations to him for a splendid career and one that is not marked by scandals. He did the right way. RTR!

I saw that too. What a career he had. He was respected by everyone in baseball. He got acknowledged in every ball park he played in this year. That is quite an honor and very rare. My favorite was Cleveland giving him a retirement rocking chair made from broken bats. I think it was in jest but they said most of the broken bats came from his inside fastball.

Now let me get this straight, I'm going hunting in Vestavia Hills tonight for jackelope. I'm to dress it out, butcher it, and have it ready for you to throw on the grill tomorrow. Is that about right? I'm trusting you that I'll bag one tonight. I never knew that Vestavia Hills was overrun by jackelope. Who knew?  I just hope it's as good as the snipe you cooked last time.
