what I was trying to say is , looks like we will have to evac from New Orleans to possibly Pensacola and every depot in between due to the forecast for flooding and storm surge ...
New Orleans will go under for sure with Mobile right behind it ...

Cantore is in Pensacola Beach. 

I was in the Krystal yesterday afternoon in Greenville with his cameraman
I ask the cam guy if Jim was in the truck or was it because he is so
short I just couldn't see him ...

 

yeah ,  there was a line of storm gurus headed this way down I-65

Sorry, X, I can't help. My relationship with Chaac is strained (hence Cantore's presence on P'cola Beach). Maybe Chech can put in a good word for you.

I wish , I'm just a lowly gofer , I work with the Engineers and the Conductors
building the trains , making sure they are where they need to
be when they need to be there .

say like if the train is in New Orleans and it needs to come to Mobile , I load the
Engineer and the Conductor up and we go get it then put them on the train
help make sure all the cars are in the correct order (building the train) by the manifest , pat em' on the butt and say be safe is it basically ...

we do from Selma / Montgomery North to the GOM South
Chattahoochee / New Orleans  East and West

not real glamorous huh ?

it has it moments , like the other night
I'm meeting a train in one of our out of the way depots
in one of our the middle of no where , no lights , no phone signal places
I can't raise the train on the radio so I figure they are hung up somewhere
and I get the bright idea to get out of the truck and walk around

that's when the big azz coyote saw a chance for dinner
talk about getting back in a truck in a hurry ? I set a record !

one of the other guys had seen this aggressive coyote too
so I mention to the boss , we need to be issued a rifle
that's when my conductor said (sarcasm) ...
"no we have a radio and a lantern according to the railroad that's all we need"

ever throw a railroad lantern and scream like a cheerleader ?
it's very manly ! 

I'm not even going to tell about the Hurricane Alabama Rabid possum

Yeah, I'm going to try and get my golf in this afternoon. I don't think I'll play in 50 mph winds. I guess I'm just going to have to break down and apologize to Chaac, not that I think that will really help, mind you.

They change the tract so much, I don't think they know for sure where any of the weather is going. The guy on the Weather Channel is in Casper, WY. and it is big time covered with SNOW. We have rain they have snow, I guess this Jesus showing the strong arm of Heaven. RTR!

Since trains weren't a part of society until 1100 years after the Mayan culture collapsed, I'm sure Chaac holds no ill will toward you or your caboose.

I've got a bit of stubborn bastage in me, and sometimes I just can't make myself go 100% in the right direction.
