Just got back from Birmingham at the VA with my 2 appointments today. I can tell you that place is getting more crazy. My appointment was at 8 AM got up at 4:30 to drive over and got to see my doctor at 10 AM. All kinds of people in line behind on their appts. RTR!

 , Thank you Chechem. Man this thing hurts but it is going to be that way the rest of my life unless the Lord intervenes. So I've just got to where I try and put up with it, and when I go to the VA Hospital and see those young men there without arms and legs, I just worry about them and I don't have time to worry about me. I wish everybody would please remember these young men in their prayers. Gosh it is really sickening at heart.  , RTR!

Amen, ricky. I am pretty guilty about not remembering those young men who served our country so well who come back with such severe injuries. Prayers for them and all our men and women in uniform (military, law enforcement, fire fighters, etc.).

Good morning everyone.

It sure is quiet here this morning, somewhat saddening.

It's another big football weekend here in Ttown, maybe the Vols will bring more of their fans than the Razorbacks did. We did have some Pig fans to tailgate with us though as they do every two years, they remember me better than I remember them, oh those senior moments.

Here's hoping everyone has a wonderful day.

I bet it is quiet after everybody left. I'm glad y'all were able to get together like that. I hope everyone had a good time!

Thanks 2. It was a good time for everyone as we pulled out some pictures of years past and really had some good laughs looking at them. Our family is so spread out and it is very difficult to get everyone able to have the time to come. They all want to do it again so we'll have to wait and see if we can do it again.

Don't want to frustrate your elderly mind, but you do realize that Thanksgiving is NEXT month, right?
 

Yeah I know, but we had not been able to have a Thanksgiving with all of the family there since the kids were in high school so I thought I would grasp the opportunity  this past weekend as all three kids were there along with half of our grandkids.
