I just want to let everybody know that I am out of town this week and will have limited time to be on here.  In fact, after today I probably won't even get to log on at all until this weekend.  I will setup the pick 'em contest this afternoon though.

I think I finally blocked the toe ads.  They didn't show the picture in the ad list, so I had to read through all of the ads until I found it.

Well, Mrs. 2 and I are feeling a little sad, today. My oldest daughter, the one who you guys prayed back to health last weekend, has started her new job as a traveling nurse, and just left for Miami for 13 weeks. My youngest daughter lives in NOLA. That leaves only Breddy and my grandson left here in P'cola. The holidays will be quite different this year. I'm just glad we had our Thanksgiving last Sunday. Life goes on.

 

If you need someone to come eat some holiday cooking, I'm sure a few of us could load up and come oblige.     NALT would probably let you feed Runt and James Edward for a while.   

 

We are spending Thanksgiving day with my MIL, but are actually seriously considering a traveling Christmas. We would have actual Christmas Day here with Breddy and grandson, then travel to NOLA the next day to visit youngest & hubby, then fly to Miami to see oldest.

I know where you are coming from, you have my condolences.
I do like your Christmas plans though, great idea.

What a weather change, wind and cold weather sure gets my attention. I'm supposed to grill steaks and chicken late this afternoon for the Roosters Club and I'm hoping that they have a plan B to replace me.

Hope everyone has a better day today and be sure and put a heavier coat in the car, you never know when you might need it.
