My wife shops at Walmart for everything except meats. She gets them at a local butcher. I normally go to Publix. You pay more but the store is nice and never crowded. Good wine selection too.

My parents (well, Mom) gathers all the weekly ads from local stores and makes Wal-Mart match a bunch of prices. She probably saves $15/week beyond Wal-Marts pretty low prices.   I guess raising 4 kids on a single income conditions you to do things like that even though they live plenty comfortably now.

What a busy work week. I fell asleep about 7:45 last night and woke up at 3:30 this morning.
