Morning, everybody.
How many more coaches left Tuscaloosa while I was asleep?

As long as it wasn't Coach Saban, I'm not too concerned. I have noticed, though, that the riff-raff meter in T-Town is going crazy.

Morning all! Have a nice Sunday!

Chech, that's a very interesting pic, I wouldn't have wanted to been one of those manning the cannons, it looks like the enemies aim was pretty good. I envy you and LF on your trip, maybe someday. Cheesy

TGIM, there's nothing better than those Mondays. Huh?

Have a great day everyone. Cheesy Pray

Thanks, Jamos.

The fort was sturdy, but not up to the standards of new technology.  The new (rifled) barrels of Union troops allowed cannon fire to reach Fort Pulaski (guarding the river near Savannah) from over a mile away, tearing through the fort's 8-foot thick, solid brick walls. Within thirty-hours the once 'invincible fort' had surrendered.  The Confederate guns could fire just half a mile.

The photo above was from the wall that survived.  Around the corner was a wall that was later reconstructed.  The Confederates surrendered after the wall collapsed, and the magazine was exposed to cannon fire.  Had the magazine been hit, and it nearly was, the entire fort and all its troops would have been destroyed.

 Sad

Morning all.  Hope your week gets off to a good start.

I started trying to learn Hebrew today.  My head hurts.  Banging your head against the wall.

Morning all. Coffee

Chech, you made it back just in time for a little snow. This has been one crazy winter so far with all the percipitation. We had a record 15 inches rainfall above the average last year and it looks like we might be going after that record this year. Iit's better than having a drought though.

Have a good day everyone.

It has been a wet one. We had thunderstorms Saturday and yesterday. It seems odd having thunder and lightning this time of year. Looks like things will dry out for a while, along with being colder.

Welcome back, Chech. Hope everyone has a great day!

Evening all. Hope everyone is doing well thus far this week. Classes started back for me this week, although I think phil has me beat in the class toughness competition. Hebrew MUCH more difficult than Preservation.
