Afternoon gents. We are buckling in here waiting on Snowpocalypse to hit us sometime tonight and all day tomorrow. They are saying 6-8 inches, perhaps more. I just hope we don't lose power.  

Hey cb you and the better half be safe up there. I know what it is doing here and I can not imagine what might happen that far North. God Bless. RTR!

Well, while we're praying, please include LF's folks in Charlottesville, VA.  The forecast: 10-18" of snow.

Clear skies here FINALLY.  It's cold (26 degrees), but not snowy/icy/rainy.

Hopefully everyone else will be okay.  Did Preacher ever get his power restored?

Preacher's area looked like it got a good bit of snow. He may be without power for a while. My brother in Buford. Ga. just told me that he's got 8-10 inches of snow. The SC Upstate was hit hard, also, and it's still snowing. I feel very fortunate that we only got a couple of dump trucks full of rain.

Good to hear that your finally dry, Chech. CB looks like he's had rain, so far. Maybe he will get lucky and escape the snow and ice.

Best wishes to everyone and let's hope that's the end of all the winter precip for the year. The extended forecast looks pretty good for here.

Here's hoping all is well with everyone this morning, what a day yesterday was.

We get sunshine today and rain tomorrow. I was hoping to take in the Bama baseball game tomorrow night but that looks quite iffy right now due to the rain.

It is a beautiful morning in Decatur. We have 3-5" of snow according to the Decatur Daily. It is at least 5" at my house. We had 4" on Tuesday. It is more like the North Pole than North Alabama around here lately.

According to the news the roads are a mess.

Morning gents. No ice, but we got somewhere around 8 inches of snow overnight, and some areas north of us are still getting snow. Westminster, MD, which is about  45 minutes north of us, got about 16.5 inches and it was STILL snowing there this morning. There is a chance we could get more this afternoon, but I think the worst is over here at La Casa de cbbama. The roads are a mess, though, so we ain't going nowhere today.
