My graduating class (1964) will be honored at A-Day with our induction into the Golden Fifties Club.  This group celebrates the rich history of the University of Alabama and provides meaningful experiences for alumni and former students who have reached the 50th anniversary of their graduation.  Each year they welcome a new group into the Golden Fifties Club during the reunion weekend.

A full weekend of activities is planned.

Still stay in touch with a few.  For some odd reason, most of my closest friends at Bama were either a year behind me or a year ahead of me. I've been married to one of my classmates for over 50 years. (does that count?)

Morning all. 

I had a quiet day working on a few projects/assignments.  Tried to make an Indian dish for dinner but it wasn't nearly as good as my favorite restaurant in Penang.

Morning gents. I ran into some guy named 2Stater in downtown D.C. last night, escorted by the lovely mrs. 2Stater, and one of the equally lovely younger 2Staters. Had dinner, talked about all of y'all, and generally solved all of the problems of the country. In just an hour and a half.
