a friend of mine made the video and we have plans to spot fish with it soon
the plane was out almost two miles in the Gulf before it lost

I've spent many days fishing off that pier, including once when a storm had blown down the first part, so we had to swim out and climb the pilings to fish.  A buddy and I spent the night fishing there that time, caught some small sharks and lots of seatrout.

Back ~1966 I used to dance at the Casino at the foot of that pier on Friday and Saturday nights.

Now it's just a relic linking a wandering Sand Island to Dauphin Island.

that pier has a lot of memories for me also

scattered a friends ashes from that old girl right before the sand
took over

many people miss the wooden lady  Banging your head against the wall.

It was very quiet on the lake with the exception of my grandson and the little boy that was there playing with him. The only boats we saw were tied to the dock. The company and food was very good, though.

at the price gas is at ... I can understand no boats out
plenty of them tied up or on trailers around here too
