Good morning. I played well again yesterday.

Gonna be a warm one here, too, Chech. Good thing we have cold beverages.  Tongue

Must be nice to play well.    I miss golf.  At least I have the beverages!

Thanks for the kind words, J.  I'm enjoying the birds.  They've found the mulberry tree over my driveway, and it's loaded with fruit.  Amazing how many different species feed there at once.

Morning all.

I listened to a presentation tonight from a man who, at great risk to himself, helped North Korean refugees until he was recently deported from the country where he was working.  Much of what he said was heartbreaking, but the story that tore me up was of a boy who escaped after his mom called him into the kitchen, cut off his arm, and ate it. The number one wish of North Korean people is white rice and salty soup - boiled water with salt.  They don't have anything.  We cannot imagine the horror of life in NK.  If you're a praying person, please pray for North Korea.

Pray

I believe it is time to send Seal Team 6 in to capture Kim Jong-un.  Or a drone strike.

I have prayed but not enough. Will be an honor to pray for those in need and pray the leaders are brought to their knees by Jesus the Christ himself. RTR!

Morning everyone. Coffee

Summer is setting in and so are the weeds in the garden. Wish I could get the wanted plants to grow as easily as the weeds grow.

2, hope you had another good day on the golf course, it sounds like you are having a great time.

Have a great day everyone. Cheesy

I hear you, Jamos.  I didn't get a very good stand of sweet corn this year.  The seed was actually bought a couple years ago, so it may have been a little too old.

But after that weekend of rain and a week full of sunshine, I'm going to be up to my ears in morning glories.

Sad  Thanks for the reminder.  Sometimes we get busy with life and tend to forget places around the world are in such dire need.  We also forget to be thankful for how good we have it.

Truth.  I bought some "miracle product" last year: SedgeHammer.  It's supposed to be great at eliminating nutgrass (a sedge).

WRONG

I spent $50 on 2 bottles of it.  It killed about half of the plants I sprayed, but apparently not the 'nuts'.  In less than a month it was just as bad as before.

You know for the one answer I came up with for this problem around the world. LAZINESS by the CHURCH. I don't mean the building, I mean the people in the pews claiming to be Christians and the ones who are faking it. The church got to where I, me, my and I cheat or whatever to get mine but tough on everybody else. Gosh so many people do NOT get face down and humble to pray for others and that is SAD.
I APPROVE THIS MESSAGE. RTR!

I've been told that the only way to get rid of nut grass is to move and I can't argue with that.

Image is the best product I have found to kill nutgrass. You can get it at Lowe's and Home Depot.

You have to do more than one application. It kills from the tips of the grass down. There is always small young growth that does not get killed in the first application.

Good morning! Golf crashed and burned the last 2 days. The good play saw it's last on Monday. I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. It's funny how a golf game can go south so quickly, but the company and war stories are good. Will be heading home tomorrow. Y'all have a great day!
