Good morning.

I spent yesterday fishing at a lake in Fluvanna County, VA.  Caught lots of bass, some crappie, and bluegills (all on same top-water plug: tiny chugger).

Beautiful there; wild azaleas and mountain laurel blooming everywhere.

Finally we have a good chance for some rain today. Chech, I think you've had quite a bit over your way. Seeing your picture reminds me of spring fishing here, the wild flowers sure brighten up a day of fishing. Kudos on the good day of fishing.

Lots of rain last night and more to come today. My daughter and her husband in Lafayette, La. could not get out of their neighborhood yesterday because of the flooding. It may be that way here today.

Sorry to hear about the flooding, we have had about 3/4 of an inch here which is not bad as it had become pretty dry before the rain.

2, I'm going to play some golf at Eagle Point in B'ham tomorrow. An old friend that moved back to Mississippi called and said he would be in B'ham and would like to play a round, wish you were in the area and could join us.

Chech, I hope your fishing luck is good today, it sounds like you are having a great time.

I wish I could join you, too, J. Unfortunately, I'm still playing catch up on work from last week. Hit a couple of straight ones for me and tell me what it's like.

I was up a little late last night watching the women play softball and it was well worth it as Bama beat a good Oklahoma team.

I finally get a chance to play some golf and it looks like the weather man is trying to get involved. Hopefully things will get better by our tee time at 10:15 this morning.
