Morning everyone. Coffee

Chech, I think we will start calling you Bill Dance, that was a fisherman's dream.

2, did you get their money this weekend?

It's a big Monday in Bama's sport world as the baseball and softball teams work toward possible championships, Roll Tide.

Have a great day everyone.  Cheesy

Anybody who can cast a lure can catch fish in this lake during prime times.  As if the fish just want a chance to say 'hello'.  Great fun.

Morning, all.  Coffee

Great pitching by Florida last night vs our softball team.  We'll need a bounce-back performance tonight to get even!

Have a great day.  Looks stormy here in Virginia.

Morning to all as well. Coffee

It was indeed a tough night for the ladies but I think Bama still has something for them, hope so anyway.

Chech, one of my sons lives in New Hampshire and he asked me what kind of baits he should use on the bass up there. I sent him a bunch of beetle spins that was in one of my old tackle boxes and he has been having a blast with them. I wonder why I never use them anymore. Huh?

Have a great day everyone.

Not too stormy, I hope. Rain lingering down here, but what else is new? The snapper season is being made shorter and shorter to many because of the system squatting out in the Gulf. Not too many people want to fish in 4-6 ft seas.

Rough day yesterday for the Bama teams. Hopefully, the softball team can rebound tonight.

Everybody, have yourself a great day!

I've fished in Lake Winnipesaukee, NH with flyrod and spinning tackle.  Mostly smallmouth bass and yellow perch during summer.  YES, beetle spins are excellent, always.  Also, small spinner baits among the shallow rocks, and (my favorite) crank baits.  Many of those lakes have huge rocks.  Crank the lure down alongside the rocks, and smallmouth race out of the shadows when you pause the lure.  Fun stuff!

He's fishing in a small lake close to his home and has caught only large mouth bass and crappie so far with some of the bass weighing up to 3 pounds. The size of the crappie have been nice as well, around 12 inches in length. When he was at home still in school, I could never get to to get up early and go fishing with me, now the fishing bug has hit him and he's enjoying the sport that I love so well.  Cheesy

Hey I love the bass fishing but I catch Crappie or perch to eat. They are good. I've never heard of this lake. Where about is it? I've been up the coast some and I pray to get lucky and get to some of these big Lakes.  RTR!

Morning everyone. Coffee

My 2013 sports season officially closed last night as the ladies lost a tough one to Florida. It was a tough loss but at least they were there playing for the championship. It was a fun season.

Chech, hope you have a safe trip.

Have a great day everyone.
