I spent half the day outside in the heat yesterday, and I'm feeling it.  Summer is here.

Morning, guys. We played the first 9 holes in a furnace, enjoyed about an hour weather delay (lightning), and then rather sloppily finished off the back 9 under a comfortable cloud cover. Getting ready to go do it all over again.

ya'll finally decided to get up I see   

if you will go to bed sooner instead of setting up all hours of

Hey, I've already been outside working in the yard (i.e., pissing off the neighbors).

LOL about the late-night 9PM comment.  Prolly true.

well , it all started yesterday afternoon about 4:00pm
my son and myself finished watching the Outlaw Josey Wales
the seafood craving struck so off we went

after two bowls of gumbo that you could float the USS Alabama in
several pieces of delicious fish and potatoes and rolls   ?

by 6:00pm we looked like two beached whales back in our den
next thing I remember it was 2:00am and I woke up hungry
the gumbo went back on the stove and we ate again
since I was all rested and full as a tick I decided to poke the bears a little


maybe I should send your neighbors some gumbo ?

None of us lit it up today. We couldn't get loose and the heat was intollable after about the 6th hole. We had a blast though. It's impossible not to, when in the presence of J. We laughed and cut up even after bad shots. All of the golfers had a great time, especially with the cart girl, whom we strongly suspected was Tammy from Finebaum.

Anyway, I am very glad they took the time to come down, and now, it's my turn to return the favor and head to T-town for a long weekend of golf and football. Here is a picture of all of us..................

Just discovered this thread today.  It is a forum by itself, and I see that lots of you post here every day and know each other well.  It looks to be a forum of  males (appropriate for a sports forum).

It was very nice of you to make comments on my "old friends please stop by thread."    A lot of memorable posters have just disappeared.

P.S.  I don't play golf or any sports, or fish either....so you probably won't see me on this thread again.   Maybe I will post downstairs once in a while with Old Tider though.
