Morning Chech and CRS.

Wish you could have come over and enjoyed yesterday with us. We had a good time and yes those two did play golf in the bitter cold. We went to Cheddars for a good meal last night before going to the game and really had a good time at Coleman. There was a good crowd on hand for a change and that helped the atmosphere at the game.

It looks like we will have some comfortable weather at the game today despite all of the extremely cold predictions.

We are now solidly in the championship picture.  Maybe the game wasn't perfect, but the result was HUGE.


Alabama DEFENSE is back!

No coach has ever gotten more than 4 wins against #1.

I have a little sinus problem today but it's not enough to hinder my good feeling of the big win yesterday. What a BIG win it was.

We had a good time at our tailgate party and I wish some of you could have joined us. The weather was outstanding at the game, not too hot and not too cold. I only saw one person yesterday that might have not enjoyed coming to the game, the cops had a MSU fan handcuffed and was leading him out of the stadium.

I hope everyone has a good day and prayers for all of those in need.

Jamos, I am sorry I did not get by your tailgate yesterday. My daughter's best friend and her family hosted a tailgate on the Quad and we got tied up there.

A great time and atmosphere around campus. Miss State was better than I expected. We may see them again in the playoffs.

Whew! I'm back from Tuscaloosa and what a great time I had. My special thanks to J and Mrs J for their wonderful hospitality. They really know how to make a fella feel good!

Yeah, my Kentucky buddy and I played golf Friday in the cold, but it was worth it. I came from behind to beat him on the last hole by a stroke, then he, J, Mrs J and myself watched Bama put a beatdown on Towson State in basketball. I couldn't believe the vast improvement in the team from last year. Looking forward to seeing more of the basketball team this season.

We tailgated with J and the crew yesterday and had a blast, then we watched the game. It was absolutely an electric atmosphere in the first half. The team was fired up and so were the fans. We owned MSU in the first half. The 2nd half was a different story. I truly think the team, as well as the fans, were worn out after a game and a half of extreme intensity. Bama, and the fans, stepped up, though,  when it mattered in the 4th quarter.

We finished off the night at J's country club, where we watched Georgia beat the barn silly, with the horseshoe that they used to own, as well as the other games in progress.

It was a great weekend and we get to do it all over again next weekend, as my daughters are taking me to the Western Carolina game. Get ready, J, here we come again!!!

WINTER IS HERE, AND COLDER TEMPERATURES COME TONIGHT.
LIGHT SNOW FALLING HERE NOW.

Supposed to be in the teens tonight.  Not getting out of the 30s today or tomorrow.
I hate winter!

Snow only lasted a couple of minutes.  It's gone, and colder air is here.

We had a line of T-storms come through here a little while ago, but now the temps are dropping and the humidity is gone. Will turn cold here, as well. Well, if it's going to be Monday, might as well be a cold and miserable one.
