A good sports day yesterday!

I'm hoping to be done with cleanup today. The only thing left in the front yard is a huge log that the cleanup crews left, but I have help coming today to rid of it. The guy who owns the crushed, overturned RV, that many of you have seen in the tornado pics, came by my house yesterday offering help. Can you believe that? His house is in shambles, his RV is completely destroyed, and he's walking through the neighborhood offering help. God bless that man!

Glad things are getting better for all of you. Kudos to your neighbor.

Things are getting better J. Unfortunately for my daughter, they never found the boyfriend, but divers are still searching. Don't think there is much hope of him being alive, but she realizes that too, and is doing a pretty good job of coming to grips with it. We're all just taking things one day at a time around here.

Sorry about being late today. I been in bed all day. My back is killing me with pain. Mrs Dottie got our little S-10 stuck yesterday and climbed on back and was trying rock up and down to help get traction for her and when she caught traction and got out she stopped real quick and it flipped me over the side of the truck and I hit the ground on my right shoulder and back. I hope somebody would keep me in your prayers. I thank Jesus I was not hurt any worse. He sure protected me in this one. RTR!

Was he blown away by the tornado?

No SC, he's been missing since Saturday night, 3 days before the tornado. He was found with a gash in his head. They don't know if he hit his head and fell in the water, or if there was foul play. They will be doing an autopsy.

2 I try and sit sometimes and understand why one man would do what he does to another man. I know when we were in war and I know war will tkae men's lives but I have to yet understand why one man takes another man's life for no reason. Mrs Dottie and I will have your precious daughter in our thoughts and prayers for time to come. Know this no Thank You is needed. Just to know love is imparted.  , RTR!

Morning 2.

Sorry you missed yesterday and what a wild day it was. Bama sports was at it's best for a huge crowd of fans. Yeah the warmer weather should be easing it's way in for some outdoor fun and I'm ready for it. I had lots of fun at the basketball game, saw some class mates that I hadn't seen in 50 years, made some new friends, and watched the basketball team send Bruce Pearl and his team back home on a sad note. It doesn't get much better than that. It was wild down where I was after the game as the Bama players came over to the students and had a big time. By the way, Bruce Pearl did speak to me as he walked by to my surprise. I tried to find the basketball recruits that were there on their visit but they weren't exposed too much due to NCAA rules about recruits. Softball had a big crowd as usual and a couple of big wins. Today we watch them take on the Vols, should be another good game. Baseball had a decent crowd as well so all in all it was a big Bama day yesterday.

Just let me know when things are well enough to come our way, we're really looking forward to it. Have a good day and give a big hug to the family for us.
