Good job of laying the Chirk. I wish you was over here to fix my horrible driveway. RTR!

No problem, Preacher.  If you've got a 20-year-old son who can play QB like an All America, we can make a donation to your church, plus we have a man in Pell City who can do the job gratis.  Grin Grin

I have a four-year-old that I am grooming right now, and I am willing to start taking any offers.

Well, it worked for these guys:

Basically you have a holding tank and diverter box. They send gray water into the field drain. This has to be shot to drain downhill on a slight gradient. Once it is so many feet from the house, it leeches out of perforated pipe (still on down slope gradient so that gravity works) and into the soil. If it is plugged up (roots) or broken, the excess will percolate to the surface. Nasty, smelly mess. But if the clay will not allow the gray water to filter into the earth below, as in your drainage problem example, this would not suffice.

Sounds like the gray water would be stuck in the soil above the clay and work itself down to the drainage ditch eventually, gross.
Not sure how this works in heavy clay, compacted soil. But if it went to a roadside drainage ditch, you could probably smell it driving by. We are missing something. Inspectors ever find that and...

I'm guessing smart phone.  That looks like my handwriting when I try to write something with a stylus.

You know you can type in the text with paint don't you?  You don't have to try to write with a mouse.  It is the little button with the "A" on it.
