Man, you guys have been busy in my absence. It's taken about 45 min. just to catch up on this thread. Glad to be back home. In-laws are great but exhausting. Highlight of the trip was our golf outing yesterday. Shot a 76 and came within a frog's hair of getting my 2nd hole-in-one. Don't know what came over me. Anyway, it's good to be back.

Even if cheating that's a good score. 

Not even a Mully. WV, I've been on a 3 year mission to get rich in SC which has taken me away from my family for the most part. The get rich part didn't happen, but I made enough to pay for the alternators I keep getting ripped off on before I get re-involved in the insurance business again. I really am enjoying my family, the golf and fishing very much, while doing some marketing for a few people. You guys here at CRS help me keep my sanity (ironic ain't it?) Have some #'s.

French drain is done.  Some very non-glamorous photos coming.  I didnt dress it up very well, so tired.

And here is the last 120' or so.  That mound at the bottom is the end, it actually looks decent, but apparently I missed it in the photo.  Obviously a lot more dressing up to do.



And here is the ROW and where I started building up my yard.



That is probably 50 yards of chert down there.  I would dump a bucket and run it over and it would disappear in the ground and water came up elsewhere.  I will continue this project taking back the wall for more chert if I need to.

That happened yesterday after I dug the trench down below the spring and it flowed for a few hours.  But it is always pretty wet down there.  

Also, it was pushing water out of the soil where I was running it down.  It shot out of the ground a couple of times.
