Smitty, see that elbow sand?  Now that's coarse sand.  I don't know how to classify that chert-hash-looking stuff you have on that hillside.  What's it really called when it's a jumble of hash like that?

It is called, "You are going to spend the rest of your day picking rock soil".

Smitty is facing a wall of storm right now.  Hope PC dodges it again.  Looks like it died out some after passing us.  The Memphis news just used our region as an example of an "incredible lightning show" last night.  They had video of constant strikes.  I was awake.

Trees down around Memphis, but daylight is just now here, so the news crews are just getting it.  I haven't heard of any tornadoes, except one mentioned at 3AM (via radar) near us.  I think all of the trees were leveled last week in that storm.
