The tornado sirens went off at 10:30 last night.  The wind was howling and rain was blasting against the windows.  Of course, our telephones were beeping about the warnings.  LF and I sat in the hallway.

Two tornadoes passed north of us (about 2 miles).  We never lost power, so we watched the radar on the TV as the weatherman tracked "rotation cells" all around the area.  Ugly night.

Now it's 30 degrees, and the grass is frosty.  It was 72 degrees at 10:30.  Wow.

Hope everyone else is okay.

Yeah.  Glad I got home in time to keep LF company!  Much worse when alone in such weather.

Looks like Ricky may be getting ice and sleet.
 

Yuck! I'll be driving through that mess on my way to B'ham. 

You'd better check the roads and predictions carefully. 
Didn't you spend HOURS in traffic a while back??

Mrs Dottie stepped outside and said it is hot outside. It looks like tonight we are suppose to go down to 29 so it could get slick tonight. Chechem we are glad you and the Mrs are OK. The way the weather with these fronts you certainly have to be careful. All of our traveling friends please be safe never know what might happen. You all have a Blessed service today. We are doing the Cantata at church today. RTR!

Good morning folks.  It rained here all night and is still.  Not sure when the cold is supposed to arrive.  It can head north of us and leave us with temps in the 60's or 70's for all I care though...  Safe driving today 2.  Chech, I'm glad that you guys got passed by the storms without any damage...  Preacher, you better let the dogs in the house to help keep you warm tonight...

36 degrees here this morning. Was cold and rainy yesterday in Birmingham for the BB game, and it rained on us from Clanton to Pensacola. Flat out flooded. Was very glad to be home.

Thanks to Jamos for inviting my SIL and me to the game. we had a great time despite the loss.

Good morning folks.  Last day of school for the kids today.  The youngest two are in a Christmas program at school too.  The youngest one's class will be singing "Frosty the Snowman".  The older will be doing Elvis' "Blue Christmas" with him dressing up as Elvis.  He has become totally obsessed with Elvis lately... After that we are going to Nashville to see the Opryland Hotel and then tonight we're going to the Ryman Auditorium for the Vince Gill/Amy Grant Christmas Concert.  Looking forward to it...
