Hey Jamos, how early can we get to the designated rendezvous parking lot this Saturday?  I know the game doesn't start until 2:00 which means we need to be there before that.  I'm thinking about leaving the house with time enough to get down there between 11 and 12.

The game starts at 2pm but the gates will probably open at noon. They always have some events prior to the game such as a flag football game for the past football players etc..I will be there no later than 9:30-10 a.m. to prepare something for us to eat. Mrs. J and I will watch a little of the football game and then leave for the softball game which starts at 2 p.m. as well, go figure. The location is across the street from the Royal Court apartments on Bryant Drive and I think that is in the 1500 block.

Good morning.  

Eager for A-Day.  Red (and Mrs) Elephant and I will arrive for tailgating about 10AM.  We'll bring a bucket of fried chicken, so come hungry.  I'm really eager to see the players this spring.  Also eager to see if Jamos can keep the rain away until sunset.  

Should be a fun weekend.  I need a break; deck is coming along, but it's wearing me down.  Taking up the old deck is the real work.  I'll post pics of progress later today.

Hope you all are well.  Today should be ANOTHER beautiful spring day.  I mowed the grass yesterday, then my sister and her husband arrived for an overnight visit on their way to Tulsa.  They'll end their slumber this morning at 7AM when my nail gun starts popping!!

Hopefully the rain will wait until after dark thirty to arrive on Saturday. I have been trying to figure out our schedule for Saturday and there has been one change made that should help some. The softball game has been move out to 4:00 or 4:30 so that will help any that care to attend the A Day and softball. For those that would like to attend the softball gamer, bring a pink shirt to wear as it will only cost $1 to get in. I'm not sure if Mrs. J and I can attend the softball game as we are attending a comedy show that starts at 7 p.m. and we may give our tickets away.Again, the rain may or will likely play a role in what we can do and not do. Anyway, it will be a busy day Saturday as I will start early with the grill at our tailgate site so everyone be careful on your way to T-town and RTR!!!!

Good morning folks.  Looks like we are going to have a beautiful day here.  Hope the rain holds off on Saturday too.  Looking forward to coming down and seeing all of you fine folks and watching some football too.  Glad to hear that they move the softball game back a couple of hours.  That might give me and the kids a chance to see them play...hopefully.  It will definitely be a busy day though.  Driving 3.5 hours to watch football then softball then driving 3.5 hours back home.  Oh, and I suppose we will need to find some time to eat before/during/after all of that too...

Mrs 2 has a brand new one. I've threatened them with it.

Nearly finished the upper deck (well, not the railings and steps), and now the lower deck (13' X 13').  We'll take the next 2 days off for A-Day!  Should be finished by next weekend.  So far we've used 3000 nails!

No, it's an apartment complex lot on the south side of Bryant Drive.  Google "royal court apartments tuscaloosa" and see the map; opposite those apartments.
