It's going to be BEAUTIFUL for the next 3 days.  Just beautiful.  I'm going fishing to celebrate.

Not much football news today.  I opened the forum to find NOTHING on "Recent Threads".  Maybe the softball disappointments didn't deserve a thread; baseball was good (including a 15-inning win).

I feel the fish trembling, Chech. Catch a bunch.

All my goofing off time is over. Back to work today. I do have my old high school buddy coming in this afternoon and we will be taking in a couple of Blue Wahoos baseball games tonight and tomorrow night against B'ham. B'ham has a pitcher, that will be playing tomorrow night, that can throw a 105 MPH fastball.

Well I woke up this morning and it was Cold again on Preacher's Knob. It looks like it is suppose to warm up though. Glad everybody is back on the level this week. Today I have made 64 years my wife informed me and next month we will have 30 years together. Wow what a lifetime. Yall have a Blessed day everybody. RTR!

Some recruiting news this morning, and some stories about NFL players.  Not much other news.  Prolly good that the current players are quiet!

Never did go fishing yesterday.  Got busy with around-the-house chores instead.  And enjoyed the migratory birds dancing in the trees.  Best one yesterday was a Blackburnian Warbler; brilliant flame-like orange on neck and face.




Gotta get one of these hats now!!   

Enjoy the days; weather will be perfect again!

Happy birthday to Red Elephant, indeed!  Applause E-Cred

Got a lot of catch-up work done yesterday, and enjoyed watching the Pensacola Blue Wahoos beat the Birmingham Barons last night 6-2. Tyler Mahle got the win to go 5-0, with a 1.19 ERA. There was talk last week of him moving up. My guess is they will do so soon. He threw a perfect game earlier this year.

Tonight, we will get to see Baron's pitcher Michael Kopech take the mound. His pitches have been regularly clocked at 105 MPH, however, his ERA is over 4.0. Apparently, he has issues with his "towards".
