Good morning. 

It is 74 degrees (at 4AM!!).  LOTS OF STORMS west of us today.  Rain expected today and all weekend.  Hopefully we won't have any severe storms; really havoc in some areas of the west -- tornadoes across Oklahoma and snow in the mountains.   

Best of luck to all of you.  Special prayers for Miss Dottie and Ricky.  Safe travels and best wishes for success with the doctor visit.

Football talk is beginning to warm up.  Meanwhile, college baseball is nearing the playoffs (Bama was clobbered yesterday), and MLB is in full swing.  This morning the BRAVES find themselves in 2nd place (8 games back of Washington, but 2nd place!).  Softball playoffs should be interesting; SEC teams hosting LOTS of regionals.  Miss State lost their first game last night; most teams play today (unless it rains).  Bama plays at 4PM.

Enjoy the day.  Stay dry and hunker down during storms.

BTW, here's my buddy's deck (in progress).  It'd be finished, but he decided to stain the wood before applying the decking boards.  Should be done after he gets off work today (unless rain ...).

Looks like I may get golf in tomorrow morning, then the rains come, and apparently, lots of it. We need it, though.

I saw where Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman fractured his wrist and is out for 10 weeks. I don't look for them to be going anywhere again this year.

Preacher, I hope the doctor can help Mrs Dottie find some relief today. Still praying for y'all.

We just had a rain shower.  Looks like it got here early!!

Good morning folks.  Prayers for Preacher and Ms. Dottie for some quality relief.  Hope things go everyone else's way too. 

I've listened to the Braves more this year than I ever have.  They usually stink it up but this series against Toronto was interesting.  Freddie will definitely be missed while he is healing up.  I bet by the time he returns to the line-up they won't be in 2nd place...

Bama 5-1 in the 5th against Albany.

After a slow start, Bama got hot enough to put it away. BTW, Mr and Mrs J were looking good behind home plate. I'm guessing J was keeping Blue in line.

Yep, I saw Jamos swing his fist at the final out, and he was the first person to stand up and cheer.  Mrs Jamos seemed to be practicing her bass casting!

Your weather map doesn't look very promising for our softball weather today, maybe we can get all of the games in. When are you leaving on your trip? I bet those trout have been looking over their shoulders for you just wondering when you will be there. Mrs. J and I went to Lock 15 Thursday afternoon mainly to just run the boat a little. We couldn't believe it but the motor never missed a lick, ran perfect. I now think the motor is just a little fickle, just to test my patience with it. We didn't catch any fish, a couple of thunder bumpers passed by us and  I was hoping they would fire up the fish but that didn't happen.
