I am hip to the fish fry Chechem. Today I am cutting grass and my Snapper it looks like locked up on me. I couldn't pull the rope then I braced and strained all I could and it gave way but it sounds like it is not firing. So, I am on our old mower cutting grass and it is a double blade and to heavy to pick up and sharpen the blades so one half a row at a time. Well back to work gosh it jars my back, lol. You all have a safe and wonderful day. RTR!

Ouch, reminds me of my old push mower days, Preacher.  I recommend you get one of these old mowers.

Ricky, if you MUST use the mower, buy some QuickStart (ether). Spray into the carburetor and it will start. Even the worst mowers start if there is volatile ether in the carburetor. But be careful.

But I like the goat idea. You could rent her to Aubs on weekends.

I sure hate that the ladies couldn't win another game, but we all knew that if the bats remained anemic, that would be the outcome. Oh well, wait til next year. And only 97 days until football season.

OT my wife has mentioned the old mower type might not be a bad idea. Wow I only know one thing from earlier this morning the most horrific lightning show and thunder with rain so hard the Chinamen below our house heard the rain. We got a huge amount of rain and it went on for 20 minutes or so. I hope nobody else got hit. RTR!

Good morning folks.  We got some pretty hard rain during the night according to Mrs. Nalt.  We have a metal roof on our house so I normally wake up with it rains so I must have been really exhausted because I never heard a thing all night long.  Preacher, be careful pulling on those starter ropes.  2, I'm sorry about your relative that passed away.  Safe trip back home.  Keep on catching those fish Chech.  Love the pics.  I sure wish we had sent old Jamos down to Gainesville to help push our girls to another win.

Lordy, I just looked at intellicast, and boy they are getting a lot of hard rain. So I guess we have some more coming. RTR!

Good morning, CRS. 

Another sunny day coming today.  I'm going fishing; LOL.   

I've met some good people during this trip, including a nice couple from Denver yesterday.  We fished all day together, then had dinner last night.  Then when I got back to the lodge I met a young guy who is a member of the "US flyfishing team".  I watched as he caught 35 trout in the stream that runs behind the lodge; WOW!  He is like an otter in the water, climbing rocks and catching fish constantly.  Here he is (from his web page):


So LSU, A&M, and Florida all made it to the world series.  Impressive wins for them.  Congrats.

Amen, NALT! The American flag is flying proudly in front of our house this morning.

Lots of rain and lightning here this morning. Looks like one more round before it's over. We will be having a cookout this afternoon, so I hope it will be over by then. I hope all of you have a great Memorial Day. Please do remember our fallen today.
