Thanks guys, no one more pleased that I am back than me.  And if 2 wants a room with me, he'll have to take a number.   

 

Glad to have you back.  WV was grumpy without you, and I tried to keep everyone entertained with blue water (instead of their usual menu of mud).  Glad you guys had the bulls (sic) to work things out.  Life's getting too short.

You are a day behind in posting yard pics, although we know you had RAIN and MUD, so you probably didn't do much anyhow.

I was just out mowing on my new Snapper; thought about your Mom on hers and the time last week when I gave you that faux-ink blot comment (which you misunderstood). 

Enough.  Can you tell I'm happy to have you back?  New lady pics by 5AM...

Thanks chech.  I have been working, but not a lot accomplished, I did dress up the dirt pile some.  Give me a few.

You know how they cover up guys faces on TV when they have been arrested for, ummm, illicit activities? That's what it looks like here to me. Only with a fish.

LoL, only in some places.  As it dries I am going to start scraping it down and taking it around front.  It's going to be a while.  The set up for the scrape down will be nice though, one big circle around the house, it'll be like the daytona 500 at about 5 mph dragging dirt.

Here is a close up of the giant arborvitae that I planted in a death hole of clay.



Just kidding, it drains enough I think.

Additional note.  I have been trying to post this for 30 minutes now.  Between itunes trying to hijack, photobucket being slow, and a 'my computer' crash I have been around the world and I am just glad the original text kept coming back.  Thanks mozilla.

From the looks of things, bermuda would be best.  If there are areas with some shade, zoysia might be necessary.  You can also get bermuda-fescue mix (not the tall fescue like in pastures; short yard stuff).

Mostly shaded or filtered sun.

This far south St. Augustine does very well in the shade, but needs much water. Not sure it would do well that far north.
