Will do. Right now here on the Ala/GA line we are getting some wind lot of rain since about 4 am. The tall tree tops are leaning a lot but down low at the house top it is still kind of still. RTR!

It was 60 degrees and raining with a strong breeze when I got home about 5:30.  The worst of it is supposed to arrive during the night tonight.  Redstone Arsenal is closed tomorrow so I'll be staying home with Mrs. Nalt and the kids.  I'll be bored...

Good morning folks.  MyRadar app on my phone delivered a "Tropical Storm Watch in your county or a neighboring county" message to me this morning.  There isn't a cloud in sight...

We will be under a high wind warning tomorrow. There is a high pressure system that will interact with Irma to bring us 50 MPH winds. I'll prolly be closing the office.

Seriously, I'm trying to decide if I want to play today. We're already getting 15-20 MPH winds from the high pressure.

Go ahead and play.  Best NFL games are tonight and tomorrow.

The Saints have a QB, but no O-line.  Sad game last night.

The injury report at Bama is sounding better.  Some of the injured may play this week.  We need Rashaan Evans back.

The Aubs continue to whine about their Heisman-hopeful QB and coaches.  Nothing new here.

Please all of you be careful and watch out for the other guy during this rain. I agree about our injuries getting better. I hope we are ready this week to put on a show. RTR!

Rough afternoon and evening here. We've got trees down all around where I am staying in Greenville. Had to re-route to get to work. Lots of people without power up here, including my office manager. I told her to take today off too. Schools are still closed. Many businesses too. Glad it's all finally over. Still raining though.

Oh, and my internet is out at my apt. That's why I'm late getting on this morning.

I don't think there are any reported deaths here, but some in Ga. A friend of mine told me about the retired police chief in Cumming, Ga and his wife going to the aid of some friends, when a tree fell on their car, killing the wife. Also reports of trees falling on houses killing a couple of people there. Check out the video on WSBTV.com of the tree falling in front of the SUV.

It rained here all day. I thought this stuff was moving out but I am not sure when. I noticed there should be some 80 degree days shortly. RTR!

Hey everyone.  I'm so thankful to know that none of y'all were negatively impacted by the storm.  It rained here all last night but never rained hard.  We only got light winds too.  To my knowledge there weren't any trees down around here either.  Since Redstone Arsenal was closed today I was able to sleep late (a VERY rare thing for me) and when I got up my baby girl was on the computer doing some of her Spanish school work.  She stayed on doing that all morning and afternoon.  I'll be going back to work tomorrow morning though and everything will be good.
