Waiting on the coffee maker.  Just a few more minutes! 

Glad 2 made it safely to South Carolina, NALT is better, and everybody had a good Christmas.  Now it's bowl-game week.  I'm off the bottom of the list finally, after guessing 5-6 right the past 2 days.  Not sure where I'll be when SC updates, but certainly not as low as 2!!   

It's cold here, and heading into single digits.

I was hoping I’d lose both games last night. Pretty sure I was on pace to break some kind of record for losing the pickems. Actually, I still think I have a good chance.

Good morning folks.  Cold here too but probably not quite as cold as in Virginia... Mrs. Nalt just came in the house from checking our gas tank. We are down to just 4% left in the tank.  I hope the gas company is able to get us topped off today or it is going to get much colder in the house...

Funny.  Just a couple of days ago my BIL's neighbor (in VA) discovered his tank was empty.  The gas company sent a truck out, and out of the cab hopped a young woman (covered in tattoos).  She was a billboard for short phrases and political statements.  Ugh.

Danny, our gas man, arrived a bit ago. I went out to talk with him and he climbed out of the passenger side of the truck.  I said something about him having a trainee along and he said that he was in a bad wreck Friday after Thanksgiving in his gas truck.  An 80 y/o man in a Chevy S10 pulled out in front of him.  The man died 2 days later but Danny was fortunate that he only suffered a fractured thumb and an abdominal injury probably from the seat belt across his lap.  He said that through all the tests to make sure he didn't have other internal injuries they found a tumor in one of his kidneys.  That kidney will most likely have to be removed. He is going to Vanderbilt for a 2nd opinion next week.  Adding Danny to those that I'll be praying for...

Amen NALT. Hope he is going to be ok. As bad as it sounds, that wreck may have saved his life.

Man it’s cold here and fixing to get worse. Looks like the southeast will be getting snow again this weekend. Luckily, I’m flying home Saturday to enjoy New Years and the game with the family. (Grandson guilted me  )

Hope you all are well, warm, and enjoying the holidays.  We're all stuck inside due to the cold; even colder tonight (below 10).  We had snow flurries yesterday.  Chance of snow again Saturday.

I managed to backslide on the picks yesterday, going 1-3.  That allowed me to keep 2 company at the bottom.

Boy, you stay away from work for 11 days and get smacked on the backside when you return.  I didn't even get to eat lunch yesterday. Maybe I need to be that busy all the time. 

Yeah, I'm done with the cold weather too.  Bring on summertime!

I with you all the way NALT. Hey I hope everybody is having a great day. It is very cold here and we got a new heater yesterday for our bathroom and that thing works good. We live in a shoe box with one side of the box crumbling and the holes are cold. My wife says she loves me cause no woman would live in this much cold. We later and everybody be safe on the slick spots. RTR!
