In the last couple days, Weather Channel has changed it's forecast for Huntsville from "2-3" accumulation" to "1" accumulation" to "potential for some accumulation."  Of course the locals are clinging to the worst case models trying to get folks glued to their TVs.

It's going to be a fine line for the combo of temperatures and precipitation.  It seems like a high potential for ice, to me, but what do I know?

I don't think it'll be icing (as in the trees coated and falling), because it's a fast-moving front with lots of wind. 

But what do I know?  I'm well down the line at predicting outcomes.

Good morning. 

The moon is shining brightly this morning, and it's cold.  No snow.  We got light rain until midnight, then clear skies.  Apparently there was light snow south toward Jackson MS.  And it's snowing now in B'ham and north of there.   

It's been 50 years since Joe Namath won the Super Bowl.  Yes, 50!!

Y’all be safe in whatever weather you end up with. I’m a little worried about what we’re flying back into this afternoon. Possible snow with a low of 11 degrees in Asheville, NC, then an hour drive home.

The arsenal closed today.  I see absolutely no snow accumulation.

VA Hospital called and told me to come in early and they could get to my Upper GI again early. So we are heading out when Mrs Dottie gets ready. She has to go today cause they put me to sleep and she has to drive some till I am fully awake. RTR!

Safely back in my SC condo. Came out of 70 degree weather into 27 degrees. No snow or ice, though.
