Memory Gardens. I'm being serious when I say I don't remember them. I don't get it? Huh? I remember a Sonic on Skyland, I think, and maybe a big car dealership or two. Drainage is better than the yard area around my house. Good job!

Pass wal-mart on your right heading north and then it's on the left.  A big cemetery and funeral parlor.

thanks.  I am not done yet, but made some real progress between those last two rains, not going to mess with it until it dries this time.

We can solve your drainage issues you know.

Your storm entertainment center seems to have all you need. Running off a gasoline generator? OMG. Is that a barn drop cord?

Yeah, its cheap little husky generator from home depot and it's the best thing in the world.

Ran the fridge, tv, fan, a couple of lights here and there, coffee maker when needed, etc.

we ran it nearly 36 hours on about 12 gallons (and it's still at least half full).

Yes that bin contains enough drop cord to run power to the barn* and back.

* Pun intended

I dont know if I told yall this, but I am not a big fan of battery tools.

I am fighting a big issue down at the road. Over the last few years I've spent hours on it, paid guys to work on it, and had the state guys here no less than 5 times. Bottom  line is, it is the State of WV's problem and not mine, but water collects over the road and I imagine people driving by our property blame me.

Their lives are all just show.  I find it all very bizarre.  Do they add anything for billions they spend? No, just inbreds with a lot of luck.

What are your thoughts on shelter construction?

I will have to have a pretty good plan to convince the girl to let me build it instead of just buying a pre-fab.

I like the idea of building it out of cross-ties and burying it up next to the rock wall.

I need a DOH supervisor that is smart enough to understand what I tell him to do. I'd get harsh with 'em, but these guys bend over backwards helping us out with great snow removal in winter. Even with this issue, if I call the main dept. of highways garage/office at the county seat, 1/2 hour later I get 3 pu trucks, a road grader, a dump truck, and covey of guys in florescent vests and hard hats. They stand around and eat sandwiches and talk about how nice the house is, but don't pay attention when I tell them what to do.

LoL.  if you have put that much effort into it, then there is likely an underlying problem causing the issue.

hydrogeology is often a case of fixing the symptoms instead of the cause, since you can see those.

GM Chech, hey if you want me to come up and help you with those trees, just have to plan it.    We could get them all moved and stacked probably in a day easy.

I would only ask for some diesel.

Not sure, but I thought I heard in the last couple of days, that Prince William flies Apache Helicopters. Dollar to donut I  bet he sux at it. Also I wonder about the poor kid that worked his azz off to get a chance to fly, only to get bumped by the royal brat.

Story yesterday of GUYS sleeping on the sidewalks for a glimpse at the wedding procession. Our Dads would not understand. BTW, Shepard Smith seems giddy about the whole thing. I hope there is no relation.
