You know, thinking more about the pool for the shelter location.

It's already dug, it's ugly, it's below ground but above the water table, it has steps going down in it, and it drains well (water never increases or decreases).  So what if I fill it with gravel to above the static water line and then set the shelter in there and fill in around it and on -top?  I think that may be the best option.

Sounds good.  Pluses:

1. GF can jump right in if she's working the garden when you yell, "Storm";
2. The hole is ugly, and will look like an old pool even if decorated with plants;
3. It's close to the house;
4. Chicks dig pools.

Minuses:
1. Are you positive about the water level never changing?  Rising water could push your safe pacle right up out of the ground;
2. You'll have to go out into the night to get into it (but the other options are limited.

Yes.  I extrapolated the level down to the standing water in the ROW.  I have since fixed the row so it drains better and that is most certainly the static water level.

The pool has been like that since I moved in and has never changed.

However, I am not thinking I will cut it close and probably have at least 2 feet between the water table and the bottom of the shelter.

Do it (but only after telling the GF and listening to her rhetorical answer).

The girl is a scientist too and unlike a typical "gf".  She will probably be a fan of that decision.  I'll let you know.

Hmm, she doesn't gab about your decisions?  Chromosome count?

CNN doing Tuscaloosa story.  Krispy Kreme leveled.  The KK truck went through a house (totally gone) and was tumbled into a blob.  They showed what was left (mashed cab and chassis).

Have they determined (the obvious) that it was an F5 yet?

Oh yeah, and she usually has a pretty good point too.  We work through things like that from a scientific point of view.  Plus I am older.

Smitty, what was that emoticon on TS called that has the eyes looking back (to its left) as if to say "That okay to say?".  I've searched and can't find one like it.

I'm not sure which one you mean...

The florida gators have a site that it is identical software unless the NYT made them ditch it too.  So maybe you can look there?

Here mom is married.  Her dad is really cool.  They're neat family, seriously.

Mornin' e-friends.

Morning 2.

How long are you going to be in Pcola?  I am scheduling a beach trip and we should play some golf while I am down.  We can write it off as a business meeting.

If it's next weekend, Saturday would be good for me since Sunday is Mother's Day, where I'll be relegated to grill duty.
