I had been wondering about the surge in TP sales. Apparently, most TP is made in China and the production has stopped or slowed to a crawl because of the virus, thus, causing a shortage. Wouldn't the worst concern be that you're buying something that came from virus-infected China?

Kidding aside, researchers finally completed a study on length of time the virus remains viable outside the human body.  It came out Wednesday.  Time varies with type of surface, but generally a couple of hours to 3 days.  I think we're good with the TP from China (better than TP from Nebraska!).

I know.  But consider that the virus can live on a dog's tongue for days, but on a plastic spoon only 2 hours.  Common sense that it lasts longer on moist, warm surfaces. 
Best news I heard from that study was that (paraphrase) "even though the virus can live on a surface, it doesn't mean enough of that virus would be viable to cause an infection".  This is what my virologist friend stressed; it takes a bunch of the viral "cells" to cause person-to-person infection.  And the cells must get into your body (from hands to mucous linings).  The hand sanitizer may not kill all of the cells, but it can likely kill enough.

  I used Penny's after Sears. Now it is just good old fashion Maple leaves. Soft clean and sincere. When limbs are clean they used in place of corn cobs I ain't able to grow a garden anymore. RTR!
