Rained all night here, but nothing severe. One of my daughters texted me. In Pensacola, they were under 2 different tornado warnings, but she said everyone was good.

Going back to my retina doctor this morning for follow up. Fingers crossed.

Good luck with the appointment, 2.  Yes, :fingers:

Sounds like the only good news about the fire at the Moody Building (where Bama band is centered) is 'the fire was mostly in the foam roof, not inside the building'.  That was a preliminary report.  Of course, water damage and smoke will be a major problem.  Waiting for an update on WBRC live.  Click here for link

We had LOTS of rain, but nothing severe.  It's past us now, so I look forward to getting outside.  Plenty of good birding yesterday despite the rain.

Purple Finch on the feeder at our house (in the rain).

Beautiful bird, Chech.

I'm watching TWC. Hattiesburg is flooded in a lot of areas. They got hammered with rain. They showed Alex City getting pelted by a huge hail storm. No mention of tornadoes on the ground, though.

Good morning folks.  It rained here all night long.  It is supposed to stop soon though and today should be nice. I just hope my brand new chert driveway is still intact.

Good luck with the eye doc today 2. I hope you get good reports.  Mrs. Nalt is taking her mother back to the Cancer Center this morning.  I'm hopeful that she will let them put in a port so they can begin chemo.  Last visit the doc told Mrs. Nalt that this is a fast growing cancer.  Not a good outlook for her mother...

Lots of wind, even if no tornadoes.  Damage in Birmingham, several towns east of Hattiesburg, and along the Miss-AL border south of Meridian.  Lots of trees down.

Looks like lightning started the fire at Moody Building, but the fire chief isn't saying much yet.  Not sure why.  He did say the shingles covered a foam cover, and the foam was burning.  At least one firefighter said fire wasn't inside the building.

With the Coronavirus, no telling how long it will be before they can restore/rebuild the building.

Real question is why are they still working on the stadium?  Can't imagine 100,000 people crowded into BDS after this.

Got back from the follow up on my eye. Looks like everything is fine at the present time. He told me that as long as I don't get any new floaters, I don't have to see him for a month.

Good news, 2.  Glad you caught it early enough to be able to have a simple laser procedure.

Thanks. That's usually the case with me, OT. More putting, as opposed to less.

If she had an epidural with her surgery, this sounds like spinal fluid leak.  It should fix itself within a couple weeks, but the headaches are extreme.   Prayers for Mrs. Dottie.
