Thanks guys. One of the rare days when I struck the ball well and putted pretty well. That means today, I should fall apart.

I hope everyone has a good one!

Going back out, eh?  Should be a nice day, if not windy.

I'll be heading to the Chech Audubon Refuge.  Yesterday I fell asleep and awoke to gathering vultures.  "Not yet, boys!"

Good morning folks.  Yesterday was a very beautiful day.  Runt and I, mostly myself, helped with sawing the logs into lumber.  I got 1300 board feet that I brought home.  There are also 5', 2" slabs that are about 24" wide that I'm hoping that my buddy can sell for me.  He said that people will buy them for countertops and will easily give $100 apiece for them.  I hope he is right.

chech, those buzzards you saw just goes to prove that at your age you can't afford to be napping outside any more.  Sorry to be the one to break that to you but hey, somebody has to tell ya!

Good job playing golfball yesterday 2.  I hope you can play with others as well as you play with yourself...  Wink

Can you believe what happened to me. I had my battery on my truck to go dead. I had to take the battery off to go get another one and the battery on my car was dead. So now I have to wait till Monday for a friend of mine to come take them both and get a battery for each vehicle. Taking that battery off my truck has me in bed for 3 or 4 days hurting like crazy. I know you have a lot of friends, Peacher, and some would be able to lift a battery without hurting themselves. I'm sure they will be glad to help you. Just take care of yourself.

Yep, as NALT said: "At your age you can't afford to be lifting batteries".

GOOD MORNING!

The midnight storms never developed, but Nashville got hammered.  Hope they're okay.

I've got to run errands this morning.  I'll use the drive-up window to pay our property taxes, then I'll drive to Toyota Service for an oil change and checkup.  Hopefully they're not busy today.

Lots of birds eating mulberries yesterday.  NALT, if you want some of the berries you'd best hurry!

Good morning folks.  We had a thunderstorm pass to our north yesterday afternoon.  We didn't get any rain from it but did have some extremely hard winds.  A HUGE water oak tree that was standing between the highway and railroad blew down blocking the highway completely.  About 10 minutes after that our electricity went out and stayed out for 10-12 hours.  My BIL has a bucket truck he uses in his construction business.  He took it and his tractor out and cut the tree and pushed it off the highway.  Neither the state nor the county ever showed up to work on clearing the highway... Banging your head against the wall.  Tax dollars at work.

Wow, y'all are stirring about early this morning. NALT, maybe you should send the state a bill.

Chech, those sure are some pretty berry gobblers.

My business partner is coming up from Jacksonville today, and we will be playing golf this afternoon. I'm about golfed out.

2, that cat in the FB post belongs to my irresponsible neighbor.  They also have 2 dogs who keep the cat out of their yard.  Their kid has a dirt bike; does wheelies in the neighborhood; boat and 5 cars in their yard; outbuildings not to code for neighborhood covenants...

Taking a wild guess here, but I'm thinking those neighbors aren't your favorite.

Good Monday <grumble, grumble> morning, all.

2, after playing Friday and Saturday, I missed being out playing yesterday.  My body probably needed the break, though.  We have a tee time for Saturday morning, but I'm hoping to find some time to get out before then.

I ordered a "certified pre-owned" TaylorMade M3 driver yesterday.  I'm hoping I can get another 10-15 yards.
