Got an email from my brother (lives in Northport) with lots of pics.  He spent the weekend helping a friend who lived on 15th search for his keepsakes.  House totaled.  Sad pics.

BHO taking full credit for killing of OBL. Until last night, I was not convinced that they were not the same guy.

His speech last night had a line that I noticed ("years of intelligence"), plus he said he called President Bush to discuss.  Sounded like it was a continuation of intelligence and a breakthrough during August.

Fox is asking why Seals didn't kill or capture everyone in the compound.  My thought was, anyone left behind would be blamed for Bin Laden's death (i.e., they're all dead anyhow).  Plus, Seals had to cram everyone and the body into one chopper.

Again, he should have been dead by Oct. 11, 2001. Modified: Clinton's failure to kill him is a whole other discussion.

Should have been sent to Ground Zero to let the people of NY do whatever they felt like to it. He should not have been granted a Muslim funeral. He didn't deserve any kind of respectful funeral. JMHO.

You guys wont believe this.  The home depot out here doesnt carry screws smaller than 10 gauge.  

I asked them why the sold the brackets then and they said to use nails.  I was like are freaking serious?  No wonder you work in home depot instead of building ANYTHING.

Look, I dont care if people nail everything or not, but it's my fence and I am using brackets and screws.

Off to lowes, 20 minutes away.

Note:  I want to clarify that the idiot say we "should" use nails.

Lowes has the zinc plated 12 gauge screws.  Home deopt has some itty bitty screws that were like 50 bucks for 25 or something ridiculous.

They are seriously sitting in there telling people to use nails instead of stocking the right screw.  No joke.

oops my last reply was an edit.  I was having major technical difficulties, so then I go outside and the cable guy was working on the line.  Now zooming again.

Marshall, unfortunately the home depot is less than 2 miles, while the lowes is down in Leeds.

UBL was dumped at sea so there would not be a Muslim "shrine" made of his burial site. Also, a Muslim is buried facing Mecca. He is NOT buried facing Mecca. LOL
