I thought Bacon was greasy and bad on the viens? RTR!

I thought it was the wild turkey in the background

Yes, good point.  The alcohol in Wild Turkey burns the calories as you eat.  No cholesterol or bad lipids in bacon after that.

Trust me, I'm a doctor.

Sounds good to me. Who am I to argue with a doctor.

Not joking, my gf is allergic to beef, so it's a rare occasion to have it.  But we get lots of pork, lamb, fish, turkey, and vegetables including the occasional bacon.  My cholesterol used to be slightly elevated and it has fallen off the charts.

Same goes for my body fat, which is probably about as low as you can get.

So my point is fry up the bacon if you can lay off the burgers.

Hey you know those folks hate pork. If you read up on Black Jack Pershing you will see how he stopped terrorism one time for 46 yrs. He had 50 of the enemy and he dug a ditch and put hog guts and choppped up pieces in there. He then lined up 49 on the ditch and shot them, yea I know you ask, you said 50. He turned the 50th one aloose and he went back told what had happened. They quit the Terror stuff for 46 yrs. RTR!

Whenever you're dying for some beef, get a rack of lamb, it works.  Trust me, I used to be steak a week minimum.

Actually, my wife and I are starting a diet today. I do like lamb. I'll give it a try.

Just counting calories, preacher. Some diets tend to be gimmicky. I have found over the years that no matter what I eat, if it's under 1800 calories a day, I'll lose wait.
