It begins: TORNADO WATCH just issued for us in Mississippi. Today has the highest TORCON INDEX since the tornado hit Tuscaloosa. Y'all be careful today.  ^^^This. Many areas in the south have a Torcon of 9. Please stay alert. |

A tornado has been spotted on radar in Brookwood, Al. If it holds together, it is expected to hit Birmingham proper.
