Yeah, I saw where Preacher was in the crosshairs. Hopefully he will come on here this morning and let us know he's ok. North Alabama got hit the hardest. I haven't heard from Jamos, but I'll try to contact him this morning.

Yeah, it looked like the tornadoes that started near Greensboro might pass over Jamos, but the one on that track dissipated when it crossed into Tuscaloosa Co.  Fortunately it didn't hit the folks in Moundville (who were hit last week).

I was watching the B'ham and Tuscaloosa weather stations, so didn't see much mention of the area where Preacher lives.  Hope he's okay.

What, you didn't like my pic?

Sure hope Preacher made it through alright!  It never did much in Huntsville other than heavy rains.

Great pic!

I heard from Jamos. They are ok. He said the tornado that ended up killing those people was headed right toward them, but a storm developing behind it, made it change directions and it missed them.

I believe five died in Ohatchee in Calhoun County. Three were in the same family. I know Ohatchee well as my Jacksonville High School team often played them. What a terrible day.

First reports were that the deaths occurred in mobile homes.  Hate to hear that; so preventable.   Sad

It was indeed, OT. Pictures coming out from all over Alabama and Georgia showing all the destruction. All day and most of the night, we had torrential rain and t-storms here in the Upstate of SC. About 10:00 last night, lightning hit a tree right outside our condo. Mrs 2 and I came straight up out of bed. We are under a flood advisory now. The Saluda River here in Greenville County is already out of it's banks.

I know that gave you a fright, 2, and now the flooding. The weather is getting rougher each year, and there's not much we can do about it.

Pray Pray we so thankful the storms 2 of them were headed our way and turned north of us before getting to us. We have no damage.
Cry Cry we have friends in Ohatchee but they were spared as we have heard. Just so sorry that folks know they need to protect themselves from these storms but to do so and pay the ultimate price.
I hope all our brothers and sisters elsewhere are ok. RTR!

Thank you HL. These spring storms are really bad sometimes. I saw where James Spann had some damage to his back yard not sure about his house. RTR!

I have a wife and two daughters. I know as much about kangaroos as I do women and I know nothing about kangaroos.  Stars

I'll see your three daughters and raise you two more...

Not so sure OT.  I've heard that things like that can be altered simply by paying more  Lips Sealed...
