Good morning.  No, I didn't sleep well.  Does anybody?  

Not sure what to make of Coach Saban's rosy post-game chat about LSU.  Maybe he's resolved to the obvious: we're not that good.

Let's see, something positive...  The fall colors are beautiful this week.  I took this pic in our yard yesterday:

My friends out in Yellowstone watching wolves now want me to join them.  They insist it's great there during winter: no tourists and great wildlife viewing.  I like to look at pics of the snow and cold to remind me that I'm not stupid enough to go there when it's 40 below and windy.

Good Sunday morning to you all.   It wasn't pretty, but Bama is 8-1.

AND, the Boogs lost.  

Funny part was, the announcers were just bragging on Bo for 'getting past his road-game curse', and then he threw into coverage, then next play fumbled.
 

And the Vols.   The trifecta to make for the "skip to the paper box Sunday."

Um....they won, HL.  

Preacher, we may very well stay at #2. Nobody else in the top 6 played well either.

     Apparently my coffee had not taken effect yesterday morning.

Good morning folks.  Short week for me.  I'm working today and tomorrow then taking a day of vacation on Wednesday and Friday.  Thursday I'll be celebrating Veteran's Day.

At least Dalcourt's sprain isn't horrible.  "Day to day" is the report.  Armour-Davis has bruised ribs, so he shouldn't miss any games.

A nice chilly morning to get the blood flowing this morning with the sun taking us up into the 70s by the afternoon.   This is weather I enjoy.

Me too.  I'm going to dig and thin some daylilies again today.  Hate to waste any nice days, and I know the cold will be here soon.  As soon as fall colors end I'm planning to trim limbs on the maple trees over our driveway.  The flower beds need more sunlight, and the tree limbs are hanging too closely anyhow.
