Screw it, I just cant remember, how exactly I did it, but I know it was way easier than expected and I was very proud of my 22 year old punk a** who didnt know how to do much at all back then.

I think you could do it, but it's probably only the minimum to have a handy man swing by and do it for you.
You are lucky to be alive.

#1 killer of all home accidents. Ahead of getting tie caught in blender.

Is that true?  I've never heard of anyone dying of either.
They hide stuff like that from you in books. No really, it is kept down low, because no one would buy houses w/garages or make margauritas.
Maybe that's why the geniuses that build this gem of a pacle went with a carport?

Here we go.  I am very pleased with the progress of the drainage.

And here's the ROW.  It used to stay flooded for weeks after rain.  Hard to see here, but I have brought that up on the right at least a foot.  THat's a lot of dirt.

All these things are secondary to the leading killer of "OUTDOOR" home accidents. Throwing rope over the roof of your house. One end tied to the family car, the other to your belt. Roof repair projects or satellite dish adjustments. Inevitably, the woman forgets you are on the roof with a rope tied to your belt, and runs out for bread or milk.
