Bad weather still going on this morning. Prayers for the people in Texas and for everyone in it's path.  Pray

Don't look now but the wimmin'z basketball team is in the Sweet 16 of the NIT.  Shocked

1.   Pray

2.  Unbuckled.

Rain and storms aren't supposed to be here until 10am, but the radar says differently.  Looks like about 30 minutes.

Looks like just rain and a chance of rougher stuff here.  Worst will be down near Jackson, then later today Tuscaloosa and B'ham.  Yikes.

Good 2'sDay morning to you all.

I went grocery shopping yesterday.  The shelves are half empty and what's there is up about 30% in price.  Unfortunately my paycheck hasn't budged.

Did you notice if the grocery store had any saltine crackers?  Those have become extremely hard to find the last few months...  strange...

"HAS THE RAIN ENDED YET?"

We had quite a rain yesterday, punctuated by occasional thunderstorms.  No twisters here.  Looked like a radar-indicated twister was near Tuscaloosa late yesterday, but no damage reported (that I heard).  A tornado hit near Starkville, 2 near Meridian, and 7-8 near Jackson, MS.  Of course, New Orleans was hit too, and at least one person died there.  Prayers for all of those folks.

Hope you're all well.   Kiss

Here is a good summary article (with photos) of the tornadoes across the south yesterday.  Mississippi State had damage, and numerous areas were affected.  Moundville, AL had a tornado again.

Sounds like their could have been many more injuries and deaths. Glad there wasn't. The rain has started here but nothing severe. The way it rains up here, it can rain all day and we get 1/4 of an inch. They are calling for 1/2 inch today; a real gully washer.

I leave in a couple of hours to go up on the rack so they can install my back stimulator for a test drive. Fingers crossed.

I didn't look for saltines.  My parents always keep them, and I haven't heard them mention not being able to find them though.

Are they going to go ahead and give you the full 21pt inspection while they have you up on the rack, 2?

Seriously though, good luck!   And happy Hump Day to the rest of you.
